All Zathu bags and accessories are hand made in Malawi & South Africa. We take pride in creating each item with care and utilising our quality controls during manufacturing. Please allow for slight variations in shapes and sizes, we do try our best to stay as close to the advertised images as possible.

Product Care:

All Zathu products are made from quality cotton fabrics sourced around the continent. Some products may contain synthetic or metal embellishments or fasteners and all our products are Scotch Guarded against stains. If you do happen to spill something on your Zathu piece, simply use a colour-safe stain remover and a soft white cloth to restore you product to it’s original state as soon as possible.

Please note that international shipping prices may change due to the fluctuations in the currency exchange. Prices can be viewed under the individual products in ZAR (South African Rand), to convert the price to your currency, you can use this link http://www.xe.com/.

We will however take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on the website are correct and updated when entered into the system.

Zathu accepts payment via PayFast or EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer).

Upon receiving your order, we’ll carry out a standard pre-authorization check on your payment card to ensure you are able to fulfil the transaction. Please note that goods will not be dispatched until this pre-authorization check has been completed. If the issuer of your payment card does not authorise payment for any reason, you will be notified of this immediately prior to completing your purchase at the check-out stage. Your card will only be debited once the order has been accepted.

If you don’t have a credit card, or prefer not to use your card online, you can pay by EFT or bank deposit. This is a little slower than other payment methods because we’ll need to wait for your payment to reflect before we can start processing your order.

Once you’ve placed your order, you’ll need to make an EFT or direct deposit into our account within five working days

As soon as we receive your payment, we’ll start processing your order.

Please remember: It’s important that we receive your payment within five working days to avoid cancelling your order automatically.

If you’ve forgotten to add your Order Number or for any other reason, need to send us proof of your payment, please email it to sales@zathunation.co.za.

With PayFast, you can make a secure and instant online payment for your selections. There is no additional cost to use PayFast.

SA Post Office:

Once your payment has been approved, your order will be processed and shipped. Please allow for 4-6 business days for us to get your product to you. You will receive a tracking number and a notification slip when your parcel arrives at your nearest post office. The cost for this service is R40.00 for national orders and R120 for international orders. Note: international orders should allow for 7-14 working days before receiving their parcel. Please read our customs Terms and conditions before placing your order.

Courier: (Door-to-Door)

If you have selected the courier option, this will take approximately 2-3 working days once your payment has been approved. Your parcel will be delivered to your door and you will also receive a tracking number so you can trace your product. The cost for this service is R50. We do not use a courier for international shipping.

With both methods, you will be provided with a tracking number to trace your parcels status once it is shipped.

Local Orders (RSA):

We send orders throughout South Africa. It is an additional R45 per parcel and will be delivered using either the South African Post Office or our courier depending on your choice. Sadly, we cannot deliver to PO Boxes but will need a physical address for all shipping within South Africa. Please note that the payment must be made in full before the order can be processed. Please allow for 4-6 working days for processing and shipping.

International Orders:

We make use of the services of the South African Post Office to ship international orders: All items are sent via registered airmail and include a tracking number. This service takes approximately 7 – 14 days and will be delivered to your local post office. The cost for international shipping is R120 per parcel. All international payments can be made via PAYFAST – as secure payments processing service.  You will receive an email confirmation once the parcel has been sent. Again, payment must be made before the order can be processed, manufactured and shipped.

Please note that we cannot be held responsible for any incorrect addresses being entered while ordering on our website. If you complete your order and then notice that the address details are incorrect, please contact us immediately on sales@zathunation.co,za

Once an order has been registered and payment accepted, it is in the care of South African Post Offices and your local postal service. We are not liable for any errors made by these services.
